Release of GCE N-Level Results 2012

The GCE N-Level Results 2012 will be released on Monday 17 December 2012 at 2:00pm in the Science Learning Centre on Level 2 of the Secondary Block. Students are to come back in proper school attire (uniform and shoes) and with a proper hair-cut. All outstanding payments to the school should be settled before the release of the results.

Welcome Note to Sec 1 Students & Parents

Welcome to Sec 1 Students and Parents in 2013

Congratulations on your posting to ACS (Barker Road) to commence your secondary school education.  It will be a new phase of your development and we are happy to welcome you to be part of the family.

Registration

Although you would have received the posting notification that you are to report to the school on Thursday, 20 December 2012 for your registration, we are pleased to inform you that you do not need to be physically present on our campus on that day.  You can simply log in to the school's website (http://acsbr.moe.edu.sg) to do so.

        1.    Go to News and click on Sec 1 Registration 2013.

        2.   You will be asked to enter your NRIC No and PSLE score, for verification.

        3.    Complete all fields.

However, should you wish to come to the school to complete this registration, computer terminals will be provided in the General Office for your use between 9:00am – 4:00pm. All registration should be completed between Thursday 20 December to Thursday 27 December 2012.

Sec 1 Orientation - 31 Dec 2012, 8:30am – 12:00 noon

To ensure that most of you will be able to maximize the school holidays period for travels, we will hold this briefing for students and parents on Monday, 31 Dec 2012. 

The briefing will be held at the Mrs Lee Choon Guan Concert Hall and we will commence proceedings at 8.30 am.  Following the briefing, there will be a Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) Open House for students and parents to find out about the various CCAs from staff and students who will be present.  In secondary school, all students are required to have at least one CCA as it provides an excellent opportunity for holistic development.  We expect that the proceedings will end by noon that day.

Purchase of Books and Uniform

The booklist with details on the opening hours of the school bookshop is available on the school website.  Also, you may purchase his uniform and schoolbooks from the respective vendors, Bibi & Baba (for uniform) and Pacific Book Store (for books). 

Once again, we want to welcome you as part of the ACS (Barker Road) family.  The next few years will be a time of growing and development.  It will be interesting and exciting as we see you become an ACS Gentleman, for we know that The Best Is Yet To Be!
